Woomargama National Park Roadworks

National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) are undertaking roadworks on Tin Mines Road from Tin Mines Campsite through to the Ferndale boundary (see map below). Heavy machinery will be undertaking remedial works and spreading road base to provide a stable track for future management and visitor use.

Work started on the 8th March 2024 and is expected to continue until the 17th May 2024.

NPWS have stated that the track will be open to walkers and bicycles on weekends and public holidays during this period unless otherwise notified. Rendering the track Closed Monday to Friday.
Road closure signage will be placed at each end of the closure.
