NPWS Aerial Shooting - Bogandyera Nature Reserve

National Parks and Wildlife Service have advised that Bogandyera Nature Reserve will be closed to the public from the 28th July 2025 - 8 August 2025 (inclusive) for a feral animal control program.

The Hume & Hovell Track will remain open during this time, with National Parks placing warning signs at the entry points to Nature Reserve as indicated on the below map. There will be a buffer zone around the Track that will not be entered by the staff undertaking these operations.

Walkers are advised to take care when passing through this section and to follow all directions given by NPWS.

Please note: the Hume & Hovell Track passes through numerous land tenures which means access and management may be impacted by the governing body. This includes chemical usage, harvesting operations, road works and other maintenance.
