Lake Burrinjuck Boat Link: Temporarily Out of Service

Reflections Burrinjuck Waters Holiday Park has advised that due to recent staffing changes, they are currently without a boat operator. As a result, the boat link service between Reflections Burrinjuck Waters and Cathedral Rock (north of Wee Jasper) is temporarily suspended.

This disruption will impact trail logistics for anyone planning thru-hikes or tackling the northern sections of the trail near Lake Burrinjuck. The boat link is expected to be out of service potentially for a few months while a replacement operator is found. If you are planning an end-to-end hike or a section walk through this area over the coming months, you will need to plan an alternate route or arrange transport to bypass the water crossing.

Re-establishing this boat link quickly is a major priority for us because it serves as a vital connection on the Hume and Hovell Track. We are working closely with relevant parties to help find a solution as fast as possible. We will post updates as soon as further information or a definitive timeline becomes available.

If you have immediate questions about adjusting your trip itinerary, please contact us.
