Fitzpatrick Trackhead to Mt. Wee Jasper summit

Follow the track through native forest and along forestry fire trails to the Wee Jasper summit. From the summit, it’s 4km to the Log Bridge Creek campsite. This walk affords views across to the Brindabella Mountains to the east and crosses multiple small streams and waterfalls. It is a scenic walk that will get the heart going a few times.

Walking notes

It’s about 8kms to the Wee Jasper summit so this is a good out and back day walk from Fitzpatrick Trackhead, or you can continue another 4kms to Log Bridge Creek campsite. 

From Mt. Wee Jasper to Log Bridge Creek campsite about half of this section is on forestry fire trails through cleared pine forest, and half on single track through native forest.

Fitzpatrick Trackhead / is accessed via the Wee Jasper Road from Tumut or Wee Jasper.
