Located 6.5km from Thomas Boyd Trackhead, “The Hole” was settled in 1888 by Jim McNamara. The Track follows an old road cut by Jim McNamara that was used by bullocks pulling a slide to send produce out, or bring supplies in. There is only a small lean-to structure that remains at The Hole, and a planting of elm trees.
