Notice of 1080 wild dog baiting

Murray Local Land Services (LLS), NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), Forest Corporation and private landholders will be laying 1080 baits as part of a cooperative wild dog control program being undertaken by Wild Dog Groups in May 2017.

Woomargama National Park (northern entrance)

This program is part of an integrated management strategy aimed at minimising the impact of wild dogs on livestock throughout the area.

Baits will be laid in Woomargama National Park, Woomargama State Conservation Area, Bago State Forest and Munderoo State Forest. National Park estate, State Forest estate and the Hume and Hovell walking track will remain open to visitors during this program. Signage advising of the baiting program will be placed at the entrances to all areas where baits will be laid.
